PROPERTY DAMAGE PROTECTOR

Pismo Property Management, Inc. has partnered with Access America Travel Insurance to provide you with extra protection during your stay with us. We all know accidents happen and we don't want our tenants stressing about losing there security deposit.  Property Damage Protector* (PDP) is a $55.00 cost for rentals up to 30 days and $97.50 for rentals between 31-120 days.

The PDP protects you from financial burden for losses due to damages that occur accidentally within the property or to theft of personal property of the property owner, while you occupy the property. 

The PDP provides insurance coverage up to $3,000 per stay and is valid for the entire stay.  With the PDP you and your traveling guests will not be obligated to pay for damage or theft to the contents of the rental unit you occupy.  However, this does not negate your responsibility as a tenant.  You are still held responsible for intentional damages or theft.  In order to receive coverage under the PDP plan all damages must be reported to Pismo Property Management, Inc. staff before checking out. 

Property Damage Protection Does NOT Cover:

            Intentional acts of a guest;

            Gross Negligence;

            Normal wear and tear;

            Theft without forced entry;

            Unreported damage;

            Pet damage

10 Day Satisfaction Guarantee:

Once you have received your policy and reviewed the terms and you find yourself unsatisfied.  Access America will provide a full refund of your insurance premium if you cancel your insurance within 10 days of purchase and have not filed a claim or departed on your trip.

If you choose not to add PDP:

You will be required to provide a $300.00 security deposit.  This will be refunded to you with in 21 days of your departure.

*Please note that in some special cases the PDP may not be offered as some homes will require the traditional security deposit. Security Deposits will be returned to you within 21 days of your departure.
